A 5 foot section of steel from the World Trade Center has been received and is on display in the Municipal Complex, 24548 East Main St., Columbus, NJ, during the hours of 9am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday.
The hand crafted display, built for the bent steel beam, was a collaborative effort from staff and students at the Northern Burlington County Regional High School Applied Technology department. After the 10th Anniversary this steel display will visit each of the local community schools and centers so that others, young and old, can see and feel a piece of American history and pride.
All neighbors, emergency service members, active and retired military men and women are invited to join the volunteer fire department in patriotic spirit to commemorate the events of 9/11.
